Problems del Amor  is an overdramatic essence of a telenovela spin-off. Maria Esperanza Aguilar, a struggling mother of two, is the protagonist in the show. Hated by her own remaining sibling, Maria fights through racist comments from her boss, a divorce with her husband, and the death of her parents. Maria's sister, Zocorro, has always been jealous of Maria's past life and current. Throughout this tradegy, Zocorro takes Maria's husband, lover, and possibly her beloved children. Maria's ex-husband, Jose, and future lover, Pedro, are stuck between this love triangle. With Jose's drug addiction, Zocorros has him right between her fingers. Will Jose leave the life of mischeaf to be back with his family? Or, will Zocorro realize what she has done could ruin the life of her two beautiful nephews?
